The Canton Varsity Boys Basketball team shook off a Friday loss to beat Muncy 66-37 in a non-league road win on Saturday, December 21.
The Warriors got 21 points from Ben Knapp to lead all scorers on the evening as they improved their record to 4-3 on the young season. Reese Allen added 12 points, Tyler Jannone scored 8, Caiden Williams scored 6, Cameron Bellows added 5, Isaiah Niemczyk and Zach Rentzel both pitched in 4 points each, and Evan Landis, Brendan Matthews, and Joel Schoonover finished the night all with 2 points.
Williams finished with a team-high 9 rebounds, Knapp added 8 on the evening, and Niemczyk pulled down 7 boards. Knapp also added 3 assists and a steal while Williams had 4 blocked shots and 3 steals.
Canton (4-3, 1-3 NTL Small School Division) are back in action on Monday, December 30 against Montgomery.
