Lady Warriors shut out Benton

Canton defeated Benton 17-0 in three innings during non-league softball action.

Six different plays were perfect from the plate: Molly Ward (3-for-3), who had a triple with three runs, Sara Saar (2-for-2), who had a triple with three runs, Katie Shay (2-for-2), who also scored a run, Jillian Shay (2-for-2), who crossed home, Emmi Ward (1-for-1), who scored a run, and Mae Kinner (1-for-1).

Allyson Butcher (1-for-2) scored, along with Jillaney Hartford, Rylin Graham and Tara Acla.

Keri Wesneski got the win, striking out seven, with just one hit.
