Seven-run 7th inning leads Lady Warriors past NPL

Canton softball routed NP-Liberty 15-5, pulling away as they scored seven runs in the seventh inning.

Molly Ward (3-for-5) had a double, triple, 3-RBI, and three runs scored, while Keri Wesneski (3-for-5), had a double with 3-RBI, and two runs scored.

Marissa Ostrander (3-for-4) also had a double, with 2-RBI, and three runs scored.

Emmi Ward (2-for-4), had an RBI with three runs scored, Katie Shay (2-for-5), knocked in four runs, while scoring one herself, Allyson Butcher (1-for-5) knocked in a run and scored one, Alexis Baldwin (1-for-5) scored, and Jill Shay (1-for-4) also had a hit.

Shay got the win, striking out two with 10 hits, two walks, and five runs.
