Warrior XC teams split with Wellsboro, Wyalusing

The Canton cross-country teams split in NTL action, beating Wellsboro but falling to Wyalusing.

For the boys, Canton lost to Wyalusing 16-45, but beat Wellsboro 26-30.

Michael Skipper took fifth in 19:33 to lead the Warriors. Isaiah Niemczyk (20:14) was ninth, Brayden Vroman (23:19) came in 17th, Will Gowin (23:28) was 18th, and Josh Hess (23:28) was 19th.

On the girls' side Canton beat Wellsboro 25-30, but lost to Wyalusing 21-34.

Camille McRoberts (23:00) was second overall to lead Canton, with Sara Saar (23:53) in seventh. Emmie Tymeson (24:37) took 10th, Kali Wesneski (25:14) was 12th, and Jasmyn Wesneski (26:43) came in 13th.
