A cold shooting first half doomed Canton in their 50-34 loss to Wyalusing during NTL Division-II boys' basketball action Wednesday.
Wyalusing jumped out to a 25-11 first half lead as they held the Warriors to three first half field goals. Canton would go on to score 23 second half points but Wyalusing netted 25 themselves for the win.
Isaiah Niemczyk led Canton with 19 points, including a 9-for-10 performance from the free throw line. Tyler Jannone netted eight as Caiden Williams, Cooper Kitchen and Cameron Bellows had two points apiece. Weston Bellows rounded things out with one point.
Canton hosts Troy on Friday with a 6 p.m. start.
