Warriors snap three-game skid vs Towanda

Canton ended their 3-game losing streak as they defeated Towanda 51-35 in NTL boys’ basketball action Wednesday.

Down 24-19 at the half, the Warriors used a 16-2 run in the third quarter to pull ahead, then out scored the Knights 16-9 in the fourth to secure the win.

Caiden Williams led Canton with 16 points while Isaiah Niemczyk added 14. Tyler Jannone scored 11, Cooper Kitchen netted seven and Weston Bellows hit a 3-pointer.

Canton is off until next week. Towanda hosts Sayre on Thursday, while Canton's next scheduled game is Feb 1 at Towanda.
