Lady Warriors fall to CV, 9-5

Canton softball fell 9-5 CV during NTL softball action.

The Warriors led 5-2 after three innings, and still held a 5-4 edge going into the seventh, when CV rallied for five runs to get the win.

Molly Ward (2-for-4) had two doubles, two runs scored, and 2-RBI, while Keri Wesneski (2-for-4) scored twice, and had an RBI.

Emmi Ward (1-for-3), Sara Saar (1-for-4), Madison Hulbert (1-for-3), and Mae Kinner (1-for-3) also had hits.

Emmi Ward scored a run, as Saar drove one in.

Wesneski scored the loss, striking out five with six walks, 12 hits, and nine earned runs.
