Lady Warriors top Williamsport, 3-1

Canton beat Williamsport 3-1 in non-league volleyball action. They won the first set 25-19, lost the second 25-19, took the third set 25-19, then held on for a 28-26 fourth set win to take the match.

Aislyn Williams had 14 points, three aces, three kills, 22 assists, 11 digs, and four blocks for Canton, while Jillaney Hartford added 11 points, two aces, nine kills, four digs, and a block.

Kendall Kitchen finished with 11 points, two aces, nine kills, four digs, and a block, as Keri Wesneski had 14 points, seven kills, and 12 digs.

Madison Hubert had 10 points, four aces, two kills, four assists, and nine digs, Marissa Ostrander added 15 points, three aces, two kills, and 23 digs, with Tara Gilbert getting one kill.

Canton lost the JV match 25-14 and 25-8.

Kitchen had a kill with five digs, while Gilbert finished with two aces. Abbey Marbaker had two aces, a dig, and an assist, as Allyson Marbaker finished with three digs.

Charleigh Anderson had a kill with two digs, and Addilyn Pepper finished with an ace and a dig.
