Warriors fall to Hornets, 10-9

Canton led Wellsboro late, but a 3-run top seventh by the Hornets gave them the 10-9 win in NTL baseball action.

The Warriors rallied from a 5-0 deficit to take a 9-7 lead into the final inning.

Weston Bellows went 2-for-3 with a double, and three runs scored, Michael Beers was 2-for-4 with a run scored, and an RBI, while Hudson Ward, Cooper Kitchen, Leo Karpinski, and Gavin Morse all went 1-for-3. All four scored, with Morse knocking in three runs, and Kitchen getting 1-RBI.

Holden Ward also scored a run while getting an RBI, while Brenen Taylor chipped in with an RBI.

Holden Ward went the first 2 1/3-innings, with three strikeouts, four walks, three hits, and five earned runs. Kitchen went the final 4 2/3-innings for the loss, striking out one with three walks, five hits, and five runs, one of which was earned.
