Canton's track and field teams both went 1-1 in their season opener.
The girls beat Meadowbrook 88-30, but lost to Towanda 70-62. The boys won 73-36 over Meadowbrook, while they fell 81-59 to Towanda.
On the girls' side Canton's Daveian Crowley was second in the 100 in 13.34, the 200 in 29.64, and the 400 in 1:06.14. Canton's Kendall Kitchen (1:12.14) took third in the quarter mile.
Canton went 1-2 in the 800 with Camille McRoberts (2:35.8) and Kali Wesneski (3:02.1), while McRoberts also won the 1600 in 5:59.50, with Wesneski (6:53.20) taking third.
Alexis McRoberts (56.84) was second in the 300 hurdles, while the Warrior 4x400 relay won in 4:32.70.
Kitchen won the long jump in 13-feet, 9-inches with teammate Natalie Kapichok (13-feet, 2-inches) taking third.
Kapichok won the triple jump in 27-feet, 10-inches, with Alexis winning the discus in 91-feet, 11-inches.
Canton swept the javelin with Samantha Brackman (80-feet, 7-inches), Kapichok (67-feet, 7-inches), and Adrianna Yellenic (63-feet, 1-inch). Brackman was second in the shot put in 24-feet, 5-inches.
Canton's Jordan Patrick Fitzsimmons (28.24) and Joshua Hess (28.44) were second and third in the 200. Hunter Brackman (1:03.94) was second in the 400 with Hess (1:04.44) third.
Brayden Vroman (2:36.90) took second in the 800 with Lawrence Halbfoerster (2:38.4) third. Halbfoerster (5:45) took second in the mile, with Huffman (14:26.5) third in the 3200.
Canton's 4x400 relay (4:21.5) and 4x800 relay (10:19) both won.
Canton went 1-2-3 in the discus, led by Kyle Kapichok's throw of 133-feet, 1-inch. Anthony Asbury (111-feet, 8-inches) was second, and William Colton (110-feet, 10-inches) took third.
Canton's Wyatt Karpinski (128-feet, 4-inches) and Kapichok (125-feet, 3-inches) went 1-2 in the javelin, as well, while Colton (38-feet, 7-inches) won the shot put with Asbury (36-feet, 9-inches) second.
