Lady Warriors Defeat Sayre In 4 Innings

Canton softball made quick work of Sayre, beating them 16-1 in four innings during NTL Division-II action.

Rylin Graham went 3-for-4 with 2-RBI for the Warriors, while Mae Kinner was 2-for-2 with 2-RBI, and three runs scored. Taryn Acla was 1-for-1 with three walks, three runs scored, and an RBI.

Molly Ward went 2-for-3 with 2-RBI, and three runs scored, as Keri Wesneski was 2-for-3 with a double, two runs scored, and 2-RBI.

Allyson Butcher went 1-for-3 while Morgan Wesneski scored as her courtesy runner. Addi Pepper scored twice, and drove in a run, while Madison Hulbert had an RBI, and Tara Gilbert crossed home.

Wesneski struck out seven of the 15 batters she saw, with no walks, two hits, and one earned run.
