Lady Warriors Fall 6-4 Late To CV

Canton softball couldn't hang on to a 1-run lead as they dropped an NTL divisional game 6-4 to CV.

The Indians led 3-1 after two, but a 3-run third by Canton saw them go up 4-3. It stayed that way until the fifth, when CV retook the lead with two runs. They added an insurance in the sixth.

Keri Wesneski (2-for-3) scored a run, while Molly Ward (1-for-3) scored twice. Taryn Acla scored their other run, while Rylin Graham (1-for-2) also had a hit.

Wesneski struck out three in the circle for the Warriors, while allowing five hits and six runs. She issued just one walk in the contest.
