Towanda, Wyalusing Top Canton In First XC Meet

Canton boys and girls cross-country went 0-2 in their first dual meet of the season.

The boys lost 18-41 to Towanda, and 24-32 to Wyalusing, while the girls lost both meets 15-50.

Lawrence Halbfoerster was fourth for Canton in 18:11, with Brayden Vroman (22:07) 12th, Hunter Huffman (22:17) took 13th, Josh Hess (22:19) took 14th, and Lyle Vermilya (22:43) was 15th to round out their scorers.

On the girls’ side Canton’s Daveian Crowley (28:49) took 14th.
