Canton was fifth at the Bison Duals, going 4-1 as a team on the day.
They won their first two runs over Curwensville (60-12) and Saegertown (50-15), but then lost to Butler (43-24) in the quarterfinals. In the fifth place semifinals they beat Meadville (52-21) then eked out a win over General McLane (36-33) in the fifth place match.
In their opener against Curwensville Landis (121), Hudson (152), Taylor (172), Parker (189), Davis (215), and Vermilya (107) all had falls, with Luner (114), Holden (133), and Nelson (285) getting forfeits. Hayden (139) and Sakers (145) both scored decisions.
In the win over Saegertown Rockwell (127), Hayden (139), Taylor (172), and Parker (189) all had falls, while Holden (133) scored a forfeit. Hudson (145) and Vermilya (107) both had tech falls, with Landis (121) getting a major decision. Davis (215) and Nelson (285) each had decisions.
In their loss to Butler Hudson (152), Hayden (139), Rockwell (127), and Davis (215) all had falls.
For the win over Meadville, Holden (133), Hayden (139), Taylor (172), and Rockwell (127) all scored falls with Nelson (285), Vermilya (107), and Luner (114) each getting forfeits. Hudson (152) added a major decision, with Davis winning by injury forfeit.
In the victory over General McLane Hayden (139), Davis 9215), Nelson (285), and Rockwell (127) all had falls, with Vermilya (107) getting a tech fall. Holden (133) scored a major decision, as Hudson (145) added a decision.
The Warriors were losing 33-26 when Rockwell got a fall to cut it to 33-32, followed by Holden Ward scoring a 14-0 major decision in the final bout to secure the win.
