Canton Holds Off Late Wyalusing Charge For 44-40 Win

Canton held off Wyalusing late to pick up the 44-40 NTL boys' basketball win Wednesday.

The Rams led 14-8 at the half, but saw the Warriors score 36 second half points to pick up the win.

Talin Williams had 15 points to lead Canton, including two big defensive plays late with a block, and a rebound on Wyalusing's final two possessions.

Ben Fitch added 13 points, with Ryder Route and Gunnar Resavage scoring five points each. Monte Whitehead netted four as Andrew Smith chipped in with two.
