Canton Volleyball Sweeps Sayre

Canton swept Sayre, 3-0, with wins of 25-6, 25-6, and 25-5 during NTL volleyball action.

Nevaeh Vroman had 20 points, six aces, five assists, and three digs as Addi Peppe had 13 points, five aces, two kills, four assists, and three digs.

Tara Gilbert notched 12 points, seven aces, six kills, and a dig, with Kendall Kitchen adding eight points, seven digs, two aces, and two assists.

MaKenna Seachrist had nine points, four aces, five kills, and two blocks, with Abbey Marbaker getting four points, two aces, and a dig.

Ally Marbaker had three digs, Cailyn VanNoy notched two kills, and Danah Wesneski had a kill with a dig.

Sayre won the JV match 2-1. Canton took the first set 25-16, but the Lady ‘Skins won the next two 25-15 and 15-8.

Alyssa May had 11 digs, three kills, and six aces for Canton as Vroman had five digs, and five assists.

Addy Cardona added five aces, one dig, and three kills, while Kate Barry had two digs, two assists, one kill, and one ace.

Emilia Pepper had two kills, with an ace, with Wesneski getting three aces, one dig, and one kill.

Lydia Mead had three digs, with a kill, as Ashley Valera notched four digs. Jericka Strozyk had two digs, Danika Burgess got a dig, and Maci Colton added an assist.
