Lady Warriors Fall To Rival Troy, 3-0

Canton dropped a 3-0 loss to Troy in volleyball action, as the Trojans won the games 26-24, 25-17, and 25-19.

For Canton Addi Pepper had eight points, 13 assists, seven digs, three kills, and two aces with Cailyn VanNoy getting 15 points, two aces, three kills, and five digs.

Tara Gilbert had seven points, four kills, one assist, and seven digs, while MaKenna Seachrist notched eve points, one ace, one kill, one assist, one dig, and a block.

Danah Wesneski had six points, four kills, and four digs, with Kendall Kitchen adding seven points and 14 digs. Addy Cardona chipped in with a kill.

Troy eked out a 2-1 win over Canton in the JV match. Canton won the first set 25-16, but the Trojans took the next two 27-25 and 15-12.

Nevaeh Vroman had 10 aces, seven assists, five digs, and two kills, with Cardona adding two aces, seven kills, one block, and a dig.

Emilia Pepper had four aces, seven digs, and a kill, as Katie Barry had two aces, two assists, and one dig.

Wesneski notched four kills with an assist, Summar Route had an ace, a dig, and a kill, Ashley Valera finished with four digs and a kill, and Jericka Strozyk chipped in with a dig.
