Canton dropped a 56-14 loss to Muncy during the District IV, Class A football semifinals.
Canton was solid on the ground with 134-yards, but Muncy pounded out 325 on the night.
Bailey Gardner had eight carries for 63-yards, with Fitch going 5-for-11 for 93-yards with a score. Aydin Holcomb added five catches for 57-yards.
It was a back and forth first quarter with Muncy taking a 7-0 lead on a Landyn Wommer 30-yard run with 9:23 on the clock.
Canton answered as Ben Fitch hit Holden Ward for a 40-yard scoring strike. Alexis McRoberts tied it up with 5:59 on the clock.
The Indians then proceeded to score 49 straight points, 28 of them in the second quarter, to pull away.
Austin Johnson had a 3-yard touchdown run to end the first quarter, then had a 2-yard run in the second, and a 1-yard run in the third. He also had a 40-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown.
Stiles Eyer added a 10-yard run, while also hitting Gavin Burrows for a 21-yard scoring strike late in the second quarter. Wommer would add a 6-yard touchdown run early in the fourth.
Canton's final score came with 7:23 left in the game as Fitch ran it in from seven yards out, with McRoberts hitting the extra point for the 56-14 final.
