For little more than a half Canton hung with NTL Division-II leaders NEB, but the Panthers pulled away late to take the 59-32 win in NTL girls' basketball action.
NEB led 25-17 at the half, with Canton closing it to 25-23 at one point in the third. However, the Panthers would go on to out score the Warriors 34-9 the rest of the way.
Kendall Kitchen had 16 points and six boards to lead Canton as Cailyn VanNoy notched 13 points and four assists.
Daveian Crowley had three points to go with six rebounds, while Alexis McRoberts had six boards and three steals.
