Sayre Rallies With 14-Run Sixth Inning To Top Lady Warriors

Canton led 8-2 until a 14-run sixth inning by Sayre in their 16-8 loss in NTL softball action.

Jaylee Ward (1-for-2) had a triple with three runs scored, while Cyra Hugo (1-for-2) added a double. Tiffany Acla scored twice with Rylin Graham, Addi Pepper, and Audrey Bastion each crossing home.

Canton induced nine hit by pitches in the game as they reached base safely 18 times.

Ward took the loss in the circle, striking out seven.
