Canton baseball dropped a heartbreaker to Wyalusing, 4-3, in the opening round of District IV baseball playoff action.
The Warriors had bases loaded with no outs in the bottom of the seventh, but couldn’t get the one run across to extend the game.
Holden Ward went six innings to take the loss, striking out seven with seven walks, three hits, and four runs, three of which were earned.
Zach Colton pitched the final inning for Canton.
Hudson Ward (2-for-3) had a double with two runs scored as Bn Fitch (1-for-3) knocked in two runs.
Jason Mahosky (1-for-2) scored a run with Landis (1-for-2) and Bailey Gardner (1-for-4) both getting hits.
