Canton Volleyball Falls In Five Sets To Williamson

Canton lost a five set thriller at Williamson during NTL volleyball action Tuesday.

Canton won the first two sets 25-23 and 25-23, but Williamson took the next two 25-21 and 25-16. Williamson would get the final set, 15-5.

Kaybree Kendall had 20 digs, 12 points, and three assists for Canton as Tara Gilbert notched 18 points, 10 aces, eight kills, seven digs, and an assist.

Cailyn VanNoy had 15 points, three aces, three kills, and 15 digs as Brenna VanNoy had 12 points, two aces, nine assists, and seven digs.

Adelynn Cardona had five points, four kills, four blocks, two digs, and an assist, with Emilee Walker getting 10 points, one ace, one assist, and one dig.

Makenna Seachrist notched five blocks, three kills, with a dig as Ashley Valera added seven digs.

Canton won the JV match 25-19 and 25-21.

Raya Preston had four aces, six assists, two kills, and three digs with Emilia Pepper getting three aces, two kills, and three digs.

Lindley Sechrist had six kills, a dig, with an ace, as Amelia Pepper had six digs, an ace, with a kill.

Hannah Walters had three kills with an ace, Danika Burgess notched nine digs, and Lexi McMurray finished with an ace, and a dig.
