Hornets Edge Warriors With Late 4th Quarter Run

Canton nearly got Wellsboro, holding them scoreless in the third, but Wellsboro rallied with 24 points in the fourth to pull out the 49-46 win.

The Hornets led 25-19 at the half, but a 12-0 third quarter in favor of Canton saw them take a 31-25 lead into the fourth. In the final frame Wellsboro got enough offense to eke out a win.

Ben Fitch had 16 points to lead Canton, as Rylan Wesneski finished with seven points. Talin Williams netted six, Quincy Wesneski had five, as Simon Wile, and Gunnar Resavage notched three points each.

Andrew Smith, Ryder Route, and Monte Whitehead all scored two.
