Lady Warriors Fall To Williamson In Three Sets

Canton volleyball fell to Williamson 3-0 during NTL Small School action Tuesday.

They lost the sets 25-19, 25-23, and 25-11.

Danah Wesneski had eight points, 14 assists, seven digs, two kills, and two aces for Canton as Alyssa May notched five points, 12 digs, one ace, and one assist.

Tara Gilbert had seven points, five kills, five digs, one assist, and one ace as Cailyn VanNoy had eight points, seven kills, and seven digs.

Adelynn Cardona finished with four points, two kills, and an ace as Kaybree Kendall had eight points, and five digs. Makenna Seachrist chipped in with three kills.

Canton lost the JV match 2-1. Williamson won the first set 25-23, but Canton came back to take the second set 25-22.

Williamson claimed the third set 15-5.

Raya Preston had eight digs, four assists, two aces, and one kill for Canton as Brenna VanNoy had two aces, three kills, five assists, and two digs.

Hannah Walters had five aces, four kills, and three digs as Lexi McMurray notched four aces, and two kills.

Lindley Sechrist and Emilia Pepper both had three kills, one dig, and one ace, with Amelia Pepper getting three aces, one kill, and eight digs. Danika Burgess chipped in with four digs.
