Canton had two medalists at the Panther Holiday Classic Saturday, as Carson Rockwell, and Levi Vermilya both reached the podium.
Rockwell (160) took third, going 6-1 over the two days. After taking a loss in the quarterfinals Rockwell won four straight matches, with two falls, two tech falls, and two decisions over the weekend.
Vermilya (107) took eight overall as he went 3-3 on the day. He had two falls with an 11-6 decision.
Tommy Preston (145), Leland Pepper (189), and Blane Wesneski (172) all just missed the medals as they went 3-2.
Gavin Sharp (139) went 2-2, as Carson Caste (121), and Link Vermilya (127) both went 0-2.
In JV action Manny Halbfoerster (160) went 3-2 as Uriah Talada (285), Trapper Burr (172), Owen Moore (139), Carson Tillotson (152), and Grant Jennings (145) all went 2-2.
Henry Proseus (127) finished the tournament 0-2.
