Warriors Edge Wyalusing, 39-34

Canton got a fall from Blaine Wesneski, and the Warriors edged Wyalusing, 39-34, in NTL wrestling action Tuesday.

The Rams led 18-10 after five weights, but 17 straight points from Canton from 121 to 133 put them up 27-18.

It went back and forth from there with Wyalusing pulling ahead 34-33 with one weight class to go, which is when Wesneski got the fall.

Henry Proseus (121) scored a forfeit while Levi Vermilya (107), Lyle Vermilya (127), and Tommy Preston (145) all scored falls.

Ethan Brasington (133) notched a tech fall, while Leland Pepper (189) earned a major decision.
