Canton Earns Split In NTL Tri-Match

WAVERLY, N.Y. - Canton earned a split during NTL 9-hole tri-match action on Monday.

The Warriors shot 177 as Athens won with a 151, while CV was third with a 200.

Levi Vermilya shot 41 to lead Canton with six pars, as Garrett Parks and Teyton Thompson both shot 44.

Parks had a birdie on the par-4 first hole and a birdie on the par-5 ninth hole to go with two pars.

Thompson had a birdie on the par-3 seventh hole plus two pars.

Link Vermilya shot 48 with two pars, Garvin Sharp tallied a 50 with one par, and Sam Stafford carded a 53.
