Vermilya Breaks 80 To Lead Canton To Sixth Place Finish In Final NTL Match

MANSFIELD - Canton shot 374 to take sixth in the final NTL golf match of the season.

Athens (319) edged Towanda (320) for first with Wellsboro (354), CV (360), and NPM (366) third, fourth, and fifth.

Wyalusing (392) was seventh, and Sayre (407) took eighth.

Levi Vermilya shot 79 to lead the Warriors, with Gavin Sharp carding a 96.

Dierks Morgan had a 99, Tommy Preston scored a 100, Link Vermilya notched a 102, and Sam Stafford finished with a 134.

Levi had birdies on the par-3 10th hole, and par-4 first hole, to go with eight pars.

Sharp scored five pars, Link had four pars, with Preston and Morgan getting three pars each.
