Warriors 2nd, Girls 3rd, In Tri-Meet With Towanda And Wyalusing

The Canton boys came in second during NTL track and field tri-meet action, as Wyalusing (103) won followed by the Warriors (31), then Towanda (29).

On the girls side Wyalusing (94) won with Towanda (43) edging out Canton (42).

Chase Petrowski (24.72) won the 200 with teammate John Whitehead (25.78) in third.

Canton swept the 400 with Lawrence Halbfoerster (55.13), Manuel Halbfoerster (57.39), and Landon Lake (57.91).

Lawrence Halbfoerster (2:15.36) held off Towanda’s Emmett Klees (2:18.41) to win the 800, with Lake (2:32.44) third.

Henry Proseus (6:08.93) was third in the 1600 as Whitehead (17.85) was second in the 110 hurdles.

Canton won the 4x400 in 3:53.10.

Wyatt Hilton (121-feet, 1-inch) was second in the discus.

Daveian Crowley (13.44) won the 100 with Haylen Larsen (14.19) in third.

Danah Wesneski (30.29) won the 200 with Layla Frisbie (1:19.12) third in the 400. Larsen was third in the high jump at 4-feet, 4-inches.

Alexis McRoberts won the discus in 107-feet, 3-inches and the shot put in 35-feet, 8-inches.
