Canton dropped a 13-3 contest at Wyalusing during NTL softball action.

The Rams led 3-0 after one, while adding a run in the third.

In the top of the fourth Canton struck back with three runs of their own to make it a 1-run game.

Wyalusing would push five runs across in the bottom half of the inning, then ended things with a 4-run fifth.

Amelia Pepper (1-for-3) had a double with a run scored as Lindley Sechrist (1-for-2), and Trinity Acla also scored.

Tara Gilbert (1-for-3), Lucy Proseus (1-for-3) and Alyssa May (1-for-2) all scored.

Raya Preston started, and went three innings with one strikeout, one walk, six hits, and four runs, three of which were earned.

Skylar Gowin pitched the final 1 2/3-innings with one strikeout, four walks, eight hits, and nine runs, seven of which were earned.

Pepper got Canton's rally going with a lead off double in the fourth.

May then singled, setting up Sechrist driving in Pepper.

After an out where Wyalusing caught May at home Sechrist would score on a passed ball.

An error off the bat of Tiffany Acla would score Trinity Acla to make it a 1-run ball game.
